科技进步推动着新材料不断涌现，极大丰富了艺术表现语言，为艺术创新与实践开辟了更为广阔的空间。为展示当代综合材料艺术最新探索成果，发掘和培养上海综合材料艺术创作队伍，打造契合城市精神气质的展览品牌，为上海乃至中国综合材料艺术发展搭建与时俱进的学术交流平台，上海市美术家协会、刘海粟美术馆、上海工艺美术职业学院拟联合主办“物·质”2026（首届）上海综合材料艺术展。展览立足上海建设具有全球影响力的科技创新中心这一战略定位，鼓励艺术家发挥媒材的语言特性，以“物”传递精神，以静态造型艺术为载体，以平面或立体为呈现方式，探索新材料在触感、空间、光影等维度的表达可能，彰显在新科技的赋能下多元材质所蕴含的艺术张力。

　　征稿作品要求

　　平面类、立体类。（均为静态作品，使用声光电的作品不在投稿范围内）
　　参展作品尺寸
　　平面类：不得超过240cm（高）×240cm（宽）×10cm（画面内容厚度），作品固定在外框上须坚固可靠，作品内外框上均不得有钉子及锐物外露。
　　立体类：作品原则上最长边尺寸不超过200cm，重量不超过150kg（需自备落地展台），如作品超尺寸，需投稿时向组委会申报。
　　参展作品征稿范围及投稿方式

　　本次展览面向国内公开征集原创作品，每位作者最多可送1件/组作品参评。
　　投稿方式：初评投稿采用网上报名，通过提交电子文档方式进行网上投稿，投稿通道二维码见文末，步骤如下
　　扫二维码进入投稿通道，根据征稿启事要求，参考操作说明，注册、填写作者信息表。
　　填写作品信息表，上传作品图片（每人限上传提交1件/组作品，多投将视为无效作品），确认完成，生成作品投稿回执。
　　初评选完毕后，组委会将通过微信平台、短信统一通知作者本人送交作品原作进行复评，初选未入围作者不另行通知。原作自行装裱、装框，背面附作品回执表（见微信报名通道），作品按通知指定地点送件，费用由作者自行承担，原作不接受快递件，请作者与艺术品运输公司委托送件，组委会提供展览期间的作品保险。复评未入围作者、入选作品作者将分别另行通知指定时间和地点统一退件，取件费用由作者自行承担，不接受快递件。

　　主办方对参展作品有展览、研究、摄影、录像、出版及宣传权。主办方不承担作品著作权纠纷引发的法律责任。

　　The continuous advancement of technology has been driving the innovation and application of new materials,greatly enriching the forms of artistic expression and opening up new dimensions for artistic creation and practice.To showcase the cutting-edge exploration achievements of contemporary mixed media art,cultivate local mixed media art creation talents in Shanghai,shape an art exhibition brand with the city's spiritual characteristics,build an academic exchange platform that is future-oriented and keeps pace with the times,and promote the high-quality development of mixed media art in Shanghai and across the country,Shanghai Artists Association,Liu Haisu Art Museum and Shanghai Art&Design Academy plan to jointly host the‘Matter·Essence’2026(1st)Shanghai CO-Raw Art Exhibition.This exhibition,closely aligning with Shanghai's strategic positioning as a global center for scientific and technological innovation,encourages artists to utilize the expressive qualities of materials.
　　Conveying spiritual connotations through tangible objects,taking static plastic arts as the basic form,and adopting both two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms of presentation,this exhibition aims to explore the expressive potential of new materials in terms of touch,space,light and shadow,and fully demonstrate the artistic charm and creative tension that emerge from the empowerment of new technologies.

　　This exhibition showcases a total of 160 works.Among them,100 works are selected from the open call,30 works are invited from international artists and those from other provinces/municipalities,and 30 works are invited from the exhibition judges and artists based in Shanghai.

　　It is planned to invite experts and scholars from domestic and international relevant fields,as well as specially invited artists for the exhibition and the authors of the selected works,to jointly hold an academic symposium.
　　Requirements for Submitted Works
　　Types of exhibited works
　　Planar works,and three-dimensional works(all shall be static works;works with sound,light or electrical effects shall not be included in this call for submissions).
　　Dimensions of exhibited works
　　For planar works:The height and width shall not exceed 240 cm,and the thickness of the picture shall not exceed 10 cm.The works shall be securely installed in the frame,and no nails or sharp objects shall be exposed on the inside or outside frames.
　　Three-dimensional works:In principle,the longest side shall not exceed 200cm and the weight shall not exceed 150kg(please provide your own floor-standing display stand).Works exceeding the size limit shall be reported to the Organizing Committee in advance at the time of submission.
　　Scope and Method of Submission for Exhibited Works

　　This exhibition is open to the public nationwide for the submission of original artistic works.Each author is limited to submitting one piece or one set of works for the review process.
　　Submission Method:The preliminary review shall be conducted through online registration and submission of electronic documents.The QR code for submission can be found at the end of this document.The specific process is as follows:
　　Scan the QR code to enter the submission system.Follow the requirements and operation instructions in the call for submissions to complete registration,and accurately fill in the author information.
　　in the work information form and upload the work images(each author can only submit 1 piece or one set of works;multiple submissions will be
　　considered invalid).After confirmation of submission,a submission receipt for the work will be generated.
　　After the initial review,the Organizing Committee will notify the shortlisted authors by WeChat and SMS to submit their original works for the final review;those who were not shortlisted will not receive any further notification.The original works shall be framed and mounted by the authors themselves.A return form of the work(which can be downloaded from the WeChat registration channel)shall be pasted on the back,and they shall be sent to the designated location according to the requirements.The relevant expenses will be borne by the authors.Original works will not be accepted by express delivery.They shall be delivered by entrusting a professional art transportation company.The Organizing Committee will provide exhibition insurance for the works during the exhibition.For those authors whose works were not selected in the final review and those whose works were selected,the Organizing Committee will separately notify them of the time and location for returning the works.The related costs for collection will be borne by the authors
　　themselves.Delivery by courier will not be accepted.

　　The organizer shall reserve the right to use the exhibited works for exhibitions,research,photography,video recording,publication and promotion.Any legal liabilities arising from copyright disputes of the works shall be borne by the author themselves.The organizer shall not bear any joint liability.
　　After the exhibition,please return the submitted works within the specified time as notified by the Organizing Committee.Works submitted after the deadline will no longer be kept by the committee.All authors who submit works for the exhibition shall be deemed to have confirmed and complied with all the terms of this call for submissions.
　　The Organizing Committee will issue certificates for the selected works and print an exhibition catalogue.Each selected author will receive one copy.
